by Kevin L. Donihe, is without a doubt, the weirdest sports story I've ever read. Seriously, the protagonist gets his head chopped off halfway through the story, and he keeps competing. That's what I call dedication!The hero is Oscar Legbo, a professional bicycle racer. In fact, he is the greatest cyclist in the world and the most adored athlete in the world. He has a rather unhealthy fixation with insects due to the fact that he used to torture and kill bugs as a child but has since repented. This fixation leads to him accidentally killing his coach shortly before the big race.
This is a really great story, but since it is short, and is contained in The Bizarro Starter Kit (Orange)
, I would generally recommend getting that unless you really want the illustrations.
